Our Mission:

StuyWis will serve as a safe space for all female athletes, regardless of what sport they play. It will be used to speak out on issues that women face in the sports world and industry. Through a virtual community on a website, women and young girls around the globe can hear inspiring and uplifting messages. StuyWis advocates will learn and know the facts, such as women sports only getting 3.2 percent media coverage, and will work together to change these issues. Together, members will work on creative ways to fundraise money and donate to organizations that help with our mission. Members are also responsible for always being respectful to one another and setting an example for younger athletes and across the nation. StuyWis is a step further to a better world for female athletes. Together the challenges women face in sports will be spoken out and not hidden, and the voices of many will be heard.
